Dr. Roger Plooster, DDS
Dr. Roger Plooster has been offering exceptional dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska for more than thirty years. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Nebraska in 1973, where he also completed his Postgraduate Masters Program in 1975. He graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical College of Dentistry in 1979.
Since graduation he has been committed to attending continuing education courses every year to stay on top of the latest developments in dental technology. He studied cosmetic dentistry at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. In 1980, he attended his first oral implantology course founded by Dr. Carl Misch, the father of modern implant dentistry. He has since been a dedicated student of implant dentistry and has served several terms on the Admissions and Credentials Board of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
In 2004 he earned the honored title of “Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology,” the highest credential in implant dentistry which is recognized worldwide. In 2006 Dr. Plooster was named an Honored Fellow by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. The Honored Fellow designation is awarded to those members of the AAID who, through their professional, clinical, research or academic endeavors, have distinguished themselves within Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Plooster also serves the dental community by mentoring and educating young dentists pursuing their careers in both general and implant dentistry. In addition to his practice, Dr. Plooster lives on a farm outside of Lincoln with his family and enjoys golfing, fishing and the outdoors in his spare time.
